Contracts Awarded for Underground Utilities Construction

The Palm Beach Town Council has approved the following contracts for underground utilities construction:
- More than $4.8 million to Burkhardt Construction for undergrounding, water main and drainage improvements
- $7.9 million to Whiting-Turner Contracting for the installation of underground utilities, improvements to drainages and upgrades to street lighting in those areas
Work is scheduled to start this summer and to be completed in nine phases. The entire project is expected to be finished in 2026.
