Texas Town Receives $455,000 for Water Pipeline Replacement Project

The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) has approved financial assistance in the amount of $455,000 from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund to the city of Booker.
The city will use the assistance to finance the planning, design, and construction costs associated with water system improvements, including the replacement of approximately 4,300 feet of pipeline throughout its service area. The project will help reduce water loss within the system.
The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control, and agricultural water conservation projects.
