(UC) — Southland Holdings LLC announced Nov. 14 that its subsidiary, Oscar Renda Contracting, has been awarded a $59 million contract to construct a water pipeline project for the Eastern New Mexico Water Utility Authority (ENMWUA).
The scope of work includes constructing approximately 15 miles of water pipeline in Clovis, New Mexico. This project is a part of the Eastern New Mexico Rural Water System, which consists of 150 miles of water pipeline. This system provides a sustainable water supply from the Ute Reservoir to several cities and a military base in the region. The water pipeline will connect to another phase of the system that Southland constructed for the ENMWUA. Construction is expected to start by the end of 2022.
