Modular Water Systems completes key wastewater infrastructure upgrade in Pennsylvania
(UI) — Water On Demand (WODI), a subsidiary of OriginClear, Inc., announced the successful delivery of its EveraMOD pump station package to a major wastewater upgrade project in Big Beaver Borough, Pennsylvania.
The installation marked a milestone in addressing aging wastewater infrastructure, where the existing pump station had long surpassed its useful life.
Previous efforts to replace the failing station faced delays due to internal approvals, vendor issues, and permitting challenges. With a federal funding deadline looming, Big Beaver Borough turned to WODI's Modular Water Systems division, which provided a cost-effective and timely solution. The EveraMOD package, made from structurally reinforced thermoplastics (SRTP), offered quicker lead times and long-term durability compared to traditional concrete systems, which are prone to corrosion and wear.
The new EveraMOD system is expected to last up to 100 years, providing reliable service for municipal, industrial, and commercial wastewater systems. This project highlights how Modular Water Systems' approach can deliver critical infrastructure solutions while saving on capital costs.
Alma Rettinger, project engineer for Big Beaver Borough, said, “The prefabricated system met all specifications for easy installation and integration into the existing system.”
Modular Water Systems has completed a series of successful installations, gaining traction in the market as a reliable solution for future-proofing wastewater infrastructure.
