Nearly $16 Million Approved for Water Projects in Texas

The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved financial assistance of more than $15.9 million for water and wastewater construction projects across the state. The projects approved include:
- $12 million to the city of Justin for water system improvements, including the replacement of 38,000 linear feet of pipeline
- $1.19 million to the city of Gordon for water system improvements, including the replacement of more than 10,000 linear feet of pipeline
- $1.35 million to the city of Azle for water system improvements, including the replacement of approximately 10,500 feet of pipeline in the south loop of the city
- $1.39 million to the city of Springtown for a water supply project, including the construction of a pipeline to existing ground storage tanks
The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control, and agricultural water conservation projects.
