United Rentals highlights connected worksite strategies for safety, productivity
(UI) — United Rentals Inc. has outlined strategies for construction, industrial, and manufacturing companies to enhance worksite performance by integrating data-driven solutions. A newly released white paper, Worksite Performance Solutions, details how linking people and equipment can improve safety, productivity, and sustainability.
“At United Rentals, our aspiration is to connect the worksite,” said Tony Leopold, Senior Vice President, Chief Technology & Strategy Officer. “By jointly innovating with our customers, we are developing new ways to improve worksite safety, productivity and sustainability.”
The white paper explores key areas where connected worksites can drive efficiency:
- Safety: RFID-enabled badges help control access from the worksite perimeter to individual machines, improving security and operational safety.
- Productivity: Cloud-based fleet management software, Total Control®, and OnDemand technologies provide real-time data to minimize downtime and optimize operations.
- Sustainability: Companies can leverage solutions like battery energy storage systems and environmental monitoring to cut costs and meet sustainability goals.
United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental company, says these innovations offer practical ways for businesses to improve worksite performance.
