Clearfield Quadruples Manufacturing Capacity in Mexico
Clearfield, Inc. has quadrupled its manufacturing capacity at its Tijuana, Mexico facility. The expansion will enable the company to lower its cost of product manufacturing while ensuring it continues to provide customers short lead times and on-time deliveries.
“Our Mexican manufacturing facilities fully complement our ongoing operations at our U.S. headquarters,” said Cheri Beranek, Clearfield president and CEO. “As part of our global initiative to provide our customers the best total cost of ownership solutions, this strategic investment in manufacturing capacity will position us to build upon our growing momentum throughout the North American national carrier marketplace.”
Clearfield’s manufacturing facility in Mexico is fully equipped with passive optical LAN technology that offers fiber-to-the-desktop and fiber-to-the-workstation functionality.
