Centuri lands nearly $500 million in new North American utility and pipeline contracts

Centuri Holdings has secured nearly $500 million in new commercial awards across the U.S. and Canada, marking a major boost to its 2025 project pipeline and pushing year-to-date bookings to roughly $4.3 billion. The North American utility and energy infrastructure services firm said the new work reflects strong demand for both electric and gas construction capabilities.

Roughly 84% of the awards represent newly bid projects or new master service agreements (MSAs), while the remainder comes from renewals with existing customers. Among the largest awards is a major natural gas distribution construction contract for an existing Midwest utility, a multi-year pipeline replacement program in a major urban center, and a substation upgrade project on the East Coast aimed at improving grid reliability and expanding local capacity.

Renewals include an extension with a Southwest utility focused on replacing aging high-pressure natural gas pipelines statewide, as well as a continued partnership with a Canadian telecom client for maintenance and repair of critical underground infrastructure.

“These awards underscore the growth in our end markets and the confidence our customers place in us to deliver complex projects safely and on schedule,” said Centuri President and CEO Christian Brown. He added that the company enters 2026 with more than 90% of its plan already under contract.

Centuri operates across the electric, gas and telecommunications sectors, providing construction, replacement and maintenance services for utilities and municipalities throughout North America.
