JDC, Vacuum Truck Rentals merge to form Rentix Solutions

(UI)Jack Doheny Companies (JDC) and Vacuum Truck Rentals (VTR) have merged to form Rentix Solutions, creating what the companies say is the largest specialty vacuum and sewer equipment platform in the United States.

The combined company will provide equipment rental, sales, parts and service for municipal, utility, environmental and industrial customers through a network of more than 36 locations nationwide. Rentix Solutions operates a fleet of more than 3,200 specialized units, including combination sewer cleaners, vacuum trucks, hydro excavators, pipeline inspection systems and industrial vacuum equipment.

The merger brings together JDC's experience in sewer cleaning, hydro excavation and pipeline inspection equipment with VTR's national vacuum truck rental network. The company also operates more than 100 certified service bays and maintains an inventory of more than 300,000 parts to support customers across the country.

"This is a merger of two great companies," said Payton Lockey, chief executive officer of Rentix Solutions. "We are bringing together the best of both organizations to build something stronger than either of us was alone."

Rentix Solutions said it plans to continue expanding its national footprint while supporting customers in the water and wastewater, electric utility and environmental markets. Lockey will serve as CEO of the combined company, with B.T. Steadman serving as chief operating officer.
