CASE launches new 3-ton mini excavator lineup
(UI) - CASE Construction Equipment has expanded its compact equipment portfolio with the introduction of three new D Series mini excavators: the CX30D, CX34D and CX38D.
Designed for utility, trenching and construction applications in confined jobsites, the new 3-ton machines feature a zero-tailswing design that allows operators to work close to structures, roadways and other obstacles. The excavators were previewed earlier this year at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026.
CASE said the machines are engineered for attachment versatility and can be equipped for digging, trenching, grading, backfilling and vegetation management tasks. The CX38D also offers an optional six-way dozer blade and additional hydraulic circuit options for specialized attachments.
The new excavators include an automotive-style cab, enhanced visibility and simplified maintenance access. A hydraulic pin grabber coupler provision comes standard on all three models, allowing operators to quickly change attachments and improve jobsite productivity.
