Exodigo secures Texas DIR contract for AI subsurface mapping, GIS services
(UI) — Exodigo has been awarded a Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) contract to provide AI-driven subsurface mapping, GIS and digital land surveying services to public sector agencies.
The cooperative contract allows state, regional and local agencies in Texas, along with eligible out-of-state entities, to access Exodigo’s subsurface intelligence technology through a pre-approved procurement vehicle, simplifying purchasing and deployment.
“Securing this DIR contract makes it significantly easier for public agencies to adopt modern, AI-driven approaches to understand underground infrastructure,” said Jeremy Suard, Co-Founder and CEO of Exodigo. “We’re excited to support government partners with faster, safer, and more cost-effective project delivery.”
The company’s offerings include composite utility mapping tools that combine historical records, GIS data and geospatial intelligence to identify underground infrastructure and potential conflicts early in project planning. Additional multi-sensor mapping capabilities provide non-intrusive field data to improve visibility into subsurface conditions without excavation.
Officials said the technology is designed to help agencies reduce utility strike risk, improve planning accuracy and streamline project delivery as infrastructure investment increases.
