John Deere adds new X-Tier wheel loaders for high-production jobsites
(UI) - John Deere has introduced the 844 and 904 X-Tier wheel loaders, expanding its production-class equipment lineup with new electrified drivetrain technology aimed at improving efficiency and productivity on high-demand jobsites.
The new models feature John Deere’s Electric Variable Transmission system, which electronically manages power delivery to help optimize machine performance and reduce fuel consumption. According to the company, the loaders are designed for aggregate, material handling and heavy construction applications where cycle times and material movement are critical.
The machines also include operator-assistance and visibility technologies, including optional advanced vision and object detection systems intended to improve awareness around the machine during loading operations.
John Deere said the new X-Tier models are designed to help contractors increase productivity while lowering operating costs through improved traction, larger bucket capacities and fuel-saving operating modes.
