Texas Town Receives Nearly $5 Million for Replacement of Water, Wastewater Pipelines
The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) has approved, by resolution, financial assistance in the amount of $4.81 million, consisting of a $2.2 million loan and $200,000 in loan forgiveness from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and a $2.4 million loan from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund, to the city of Rogers to finance water and wastewater system improvements.
The assistance provided by the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund will allow the city to finance the replacement of water lines and the assistance provided by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund will help pay for the replacement of wastewater collection lines.
The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control, and agricultural water conservation projects.
