Seaborn Adds Industry Veterans to Lead Sales and Corporate Development Teams
Seaborn Networks has appointed David Zimmer Chief Sales Officer (CSO) and Jim Olson Vice President, Corporate Development.
As CSO, Zimmer will be responsible for all of Seaborn’s direct sales, channel strategies and inside sales. He has also been named to the company’s board of directors.
Zimmer most recently served as Senior Vice President – Carrier Services Business Unit for Earthlink. Previously, he served as Vice President of Sales – Wholesale Markets at Level 3 Communications (now CenturyLink). Throughout his career, Zimmer has led large sales organizations with a primary focus on wholesale markets.
As Vice President, Corporate Development, Olson will be responsible for Seaborn’s portfolio of new-build opportunities, including ARBR (Argentina to Brazil), SABR (South Africa – Brazil), and Seabras-1 branches for Virginia Beach, Miami, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the British Virgin Islands, Fortaleza and Brazil South.
