iDS Imaging Development Systems releases new sensor technology
The latest sensor technology from iDS Imaging Development Systems, uEye, helps take industrial cameras to new levels of precision and flexibility.
HOFBAUER OPTIK Mess- & Prüftechnik, of Munich, for example, integrated uEye with its innovative ELWI-GER 3000 electronic autocollimator, which uses the absolute straightness of light for rapid, high-precision measurements in a wide variety of mechanical and plant engineering applications.
HOFBAUER also uses the extensive and uniform IDS software and typical plug-and-play interface that enable quick and easy integration of uEye into the HOFBAUER system, making the iDS industrial cameras particularly economical.
“Programming is … independent of the connection of the model – no matter whether USB 2, USB 3.1 Gen 1 or GigE," explained Dr. Engelbert Hofbauer, owner and development manager. "In addition, new camera models are supported without software changes. This perfectly matches our goal of reconciling the highest demands on measurement technology with user-friendly operability."
