(UI) — The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) will start work on a drainage pipe replacement project on State Route 1 between Frederica and Milford on Sept. 3, weather permitting.
During Phase 1 of the project, all northbound traffic will be diverted to the southbound lanes, maintaining two lanes in each direction.
The construction will affect two sections:
- From just north of Old Cemetery Road to north of Thompsonville Road.
- From just north of DE Turf to just north of Exit 83 South Frederica.
Cicada Lane and Spring Hill Drive will be closed from Sept. 3 to Nov. 22 for the project.
