Inframark to manage wastewater system in Hull, Mass.

(UI) — Inframark has been selected to operate and maintain the Town of Hull's wastewater treatment and collection system under a new operations and maintenance agreement with the coastal Massachusetts community.

The contract covers operation and maintenance of Hull's wastewater treatment plant, seven wastewater pump stations, a low-pressure sewer system, a stormwater pump station and the town's 43-mile wastewater collection network. The partnership officially began July 1 following several weeks of transition planning.

"Hull is a unique coastal community with critical wastewater infrastructure that must perform reliably every day," said John Struzziery, the Town of Hull's director of wastewater operations. "We look forward to partnering with Inframark to help ensure the continued reliability and resilience of our wastewater system while delivering value and innovation."

Inframark, an Azuria Water Solutions company, said it will provide operations and maintenance services through its New England regional team, with a focus on asset management, regulatory compliance and long-term system performance.

"Our team has extensive experience supporting coastal communities and managing infrastructure in environments prone to flooding, storm surge and severe weather events," said Jason O'Brien, senior vice president at Inframark. "We're committed to operating Hull's wastewater infrastructure with the same level of care and accountability we bring to every community we serve while delivering long-term value for Hull residents."

The agreement expands Inframark's operations in New England, where the company also manages wastewater infrastructure in nearby Fall River, Massachusetts.
