Jacobs secures contract for California wastewater operations
10/2/2024
(UI) — Jacobs has been awarded a five-year contract to manage the wastewater treatment and reclamation facility for the Lincoln-Sewer Management District 1 Wastewater Authority (LiSWA) in California.
The contract will involve operations, maintenance, and optimizing biosolids processing capacity. The move comes as LiSWA prepares for stricter state regulations.
"We look forward to Jacobs' expertise enhancing our service area," said LiSWA General Manager Jim Mulligan. Jacobs will integrate its digital solutions, including the Digital OneWater suite, to improve efficiency for the 74,000 residents served.
