Scruggs water infrastructure platform sold to Sterling Group
(UI) - The Sterling Group has acquired Scruggs, a regional water infrastructure platform, from Rox Capital Partners, marking a new phase of ownership for the municipal services provider.
Headquartered in Houston, Scruggs supplies flow control products and maintenance services supporting water and wastewater systems across the Southern and Midwestern United States. The platform was built through the combination of Scruggs and Neil Technical Services (NTS).
Under Rox Capital’s ownership, the company expanded its product offerings, integrated NTS operations, and scaled its service footprint across core markets. The transaction positions the business for continued growth under Sterling, with the existing management team remaining in place.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
