Uponor will expand its manufacturing facility in Apple Valley, Minnesota. As part of the expansion, an additional 58,000 square feet in manufacturing operations space related to crosslinked polyethylene pipe production will be added.
“Uponor, Inc. continues to see growth opportunities in commercial and residential construction in North America, and this expansion is required to meet forecasted growth for plumbing and indoor climate systems used in residential and commercial buildings,” said Jyri Luomakoski, President and CEO at Uponor Corporation.
The cost of the project is $17.4 million and construction is expected to be completed by January 2018.
