Oncor, Sharyland Complete Asset Exchange

InfraREIT, Inc. today announced the closing of the asset exchange transaction between the company’s subsidiary, Sharyland Distribution & Transmission Services, L.L.C. and Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC, in which Sharyland Distribution & transmission Services exchanged its retail distribution assets for a group of Oncor’s transmission assets located in west and central Texas.
Under the terms of the transaction, valued at approximately $400 million, Sharyland Distribution & Transmission Services received approximately 258 miles of 345 kV transmission lines from Oncor, and Oncor received Sharyland’s distribution network and retail delivery customers.
The Public Utility Commission of Texas approved the transaction on Oct. 13, 2017.
