Vortex subsidiary expands trenchless CIPP portfolio with BKP Berolina acquisition
(UI) - United Felts, a subsidiary of Vortex Companies, has acquired Germany-based BKP Berolina Polyester GmbH & Co. KG, expanding its global manufacturing platform for cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) and UV liner technologies.
BKP, headquartered in Velten, Germany, is known for its Berolina-Liner System and advanced composite and UV-cured CIPP solutions used in trenchless infrastructure rehabilitation. The company has established a strong presence in regulated markets with a focus on high-performance liner systems.
The acquisition combines United Felts’ established felt liner manufacturing capabilities with BKP’s expertise in composite and UV-cured liners, broadening the combined company’s product portfolio. The move also aligns with Vortex Companies’ ongoing investments in UV curing technologies and integrated trenchless solutions.
Company officials said the combined capabilities will enhance global service offerings and support continued innovation across a wider range of pipeline rehabilitation applications. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
