Vortex, Minicam partner to expand trenchless sewer rehab tools across North America
Vortex Companies has entered into a strategic distribution agreement with pipeline inspection and rehabilitation technology provider Minicam, expanding access to robotic cutting and LED UV curing systems used in small-diameter trenchless rehabilitation.
Under the agreement, Vortex’s MaxLiner division will serve as a premier distributor of Minicam’s Dancutter robotic cutting systems and Speedylight LED UV curing technology. The partnership is intended to broaden availability of equipment and technical support for contractors performing trenchless rehabilitation of municipal and industrial water and sewer pipelines.
Sales, service, training and technical support for the product lines will be coordinated through MaxLiner’s global headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, and its Orlando, Florida, sales and service facility. The companies said the collaboration is designed to streamline procurement and provide contractors with integrated access to equipment, consumables and technical expertise.
The addition of Minicam’s technologies expands MaxLiner’s portfolio of small-diameter rehabilitation solutions, which includes cleaning, inspection, lining, reinstatement and sectional repair tools. The companies said consolidating these capabilities under a single distribution and support network is expected to improve jobsite efficiency and reduce downtime for contractors.
Vortex and Minicam said the partnership reflects growing demand for integrated trenchless solutions that can accelerate project delivery and improve performance across sewer and pipeline rehabilitation programs.
