Vero Fiber expands underground network by 790 miles to support AI infrastructure
BOULDER, Colo. (UI) — Vero Fiber Networks has completed 790 miles of new underground, multi-conduit fiber routes across five U.S. states, part of its ongoing effort to strengthen AI-ready digital infrastructure nationwide, the company announced Dec. 3.
The 2025 expansion includes projects in Nevada, Iowa, California, Texas and Tennessee — key growth markets for hyperscale, cloud, carrier and enterprise connectivity.
"While building AI-grade networks is a new focus for many in the industry, this has been a core focus for Vero for many years," said Pamela Moore, CEO of Vero Fiber Networks. "We have developed a competency in building greenfield networks for our customers, often in challenging geographies, and have oriented our team, systems and tools around this exciting space."
Vero said its new routes are designed for scalability and resiliency, capable of supporting high-capacity data applications and future AI technologies. The network adds both conduit and fiber capacity for customers expanding their regional and national footprints.
The company plans to deliver an additional 500 miles of fiber infrastructure in 2026. Vero currently operates across 23 states and 259 markets, providing diverse high-count fiber solutions.
Headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, Vero Fiber Networks serves clients ranging from K–12 schools and higher education institutions to government agencies, wireless carriers and hyperscale content providers.
