Vortex names Pete Dannenberg as new chief revenue officer
The Vortex Companies, a leader in trenchless water and sewer rehabilitation solutions, has promoted Pete Dannenberg to the role of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In this new role, Dannenberg will lead strategic growth initiatives across all Vortex business units, bringing innovative solutions and focused leadership to further advance the company's mission.
A seasoned trenchless industry professional, Dannenberg brings over 20 years of experience and a strong track record of driving business growth and customer success globally. Since joining Vortex in 2020 as National Sales Manager for the Products division, he has quickly risen through the ranks—most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Technologies.
"Vortex is built on opportunity. From day one, our mission has been to create growth—within the industry, for our partners, and most importantly, for our people," said Mike Vellano, CEO of Vortex Companies. "Promoting Pete to Chief Revenue Officer is a natural step as we continue to expand. His dedication, leadership, and proven performance make him the ideal person to lead our next phase of strategic development."
Dannenberg's hands-on experience began in the field as a technical trainer and has evolved into a career defined by customer-focused leadership and innovation. He has played a pivotal role in building lasting client relationships and guiding customers through complex technical sales processes. His expertise spans advanced trenchless technologies, including Vortex's Schwalm robotics, UV-CIPP curing systems, and CIPP curing monitoring tools.
His leadership will be instrumental in aligning the company's sales, marketing, and product strategies to meet the growing demand for efficient, cost-effective trenchless infrastructure solutions. "I look forward to the challenges and opportunities ahead as I step into this role at a key moment for Vortex," said Dannenberg. "Our commitment to growth and customer success has never been stronger. I look forward to working closely with our teams to expand our reach across the industry."
Before joining Vortex, Dannenberg held key roles with several leading sewer technology companies, including Regional Sales Manager, Lead Field Engineer and Equipment Training Manager. This early, boots-on-the-ground experience gives him unique insight into the challenges and expectations of contractors and municipalities alike.
