Ripple Fiber breaks ground on $140 million project, expanding into central Mass.
Ripple Fiber has begun construction on the first phase of its $140 million Central Massachusetts project. Soon to follow Holden’s groundbreaking milestone, the Southeast U.S. provider anticipates construction to begin soon in the neighboring Town of West Boylston. Between Holden and West Boylston, over 9,000 households will receive access to Ripple Fiber’s network. While actively exploring expansion opportunities throughout the state, Ripple Fiber aims for its first Massachusetts customers to begin using the new fiber internet service by mid-2025.

Construction in additional parts of Worcester County will begin soon, with announcements of expansion areas to follow in the coming months. As this phase continues to roll out, Ripple Fiber expects to open two dedicated offices, including one in Worcester County, to ensure an enhanced customer experience and demonstrate the provider’s commitment to establishing a strong local presence in each market.
