NASTT appoints Kim Hanson as Executive Director
(UI) - The North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT) has named Kim Hanson as its new Executive Director following a comprehensive search process. Hanson will officially assume the role on March 23, 2026, ahead of the organization’s annual No-Dig Show in Palm Springs, California.
Hanson brings extensive experience within the trenchless technology community, having served on the NASTT Board of Directors for more than three years, including as Secretary. She was also recognized as the organization’s 2024 Volunteer of the Year and has contributed to both the Technical Program Committee and Planning Committee. Her leadership roles and long-standing volunteer service have provided deep familiarity with the organization’s mission and strategic priorities.
According to NASTT Board Chair Greg Tippett, Hanson’s background and industry involvement position her well to guide the organization’s continued growth. In her new role, Hanson will focus on strategic leadership and strengthening engagement across the trenchless technology industry.
As part of a revised leadership structure designed to support the organization’s expansion, NASTT has promoted Jessie Clevenger to Vice President of Operations and Conferences. In that role, she will oversee daily operations and conference programs, including the No-Dig Show, while working closely with Hanson on strategic initiatives. Hanson’s appointment will be formally introduced during NASTT’s Annual General Meeting on March 29.
