Vortex Companies’ United Felts expands leadership to support trenchless growth
United Felts has appointed two senior leaders to strengthen its commercial strategy and manufacturing quality as demand grows for trenchless pipeline rehabilitation solutions.
Tom O’Neill has been named senior vice president of commercial operations, where he will lead the company’s commercial strategy across municipal, contractor and distribution markets. His responsibilities include expanding United Felts’ presence in pipe rehabilitation markets, aligning technical sales with engineering teams and project stakeholders, and supporting business development efforts across North America.
The company also appointed Elios Torres Ramirez as senior quality director, overseeing quality assurance and quality control across United Felts’ manufacturing operations. His role includes managing raw material validation, production monitoring, product testing and compliance with applicable ASTM standards to ensure consistent liner performance.
Both executives bring extensive experience in construction materials and engineered manufacturing. United Felts, a division of Vortex Companies, manufactures cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liners used in trenchless rehabilitation of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure. Company officials said the new leadership appointments are intended to support continued growth and maintain quality standards as the trenchless rehabilitation market expands.
